
Ingredients
Base:
1 1/4 cup almonds
1/4 flaxseeds
1/2 cup medjool dates (soaked)
1/4 cup walnuts
Caramel:
1/4 cup nut spread
1/4 cup tahini
1/4 cup coconut oil (melted & cooled)
1/2 cup rice malt syrup
1/2 cup organic cacao powder
PInch of salt
Chocolate Top:
2/3 cup cacao butter
1 1/2 cup rice malt syrup (can be less according to sweet preference)
1/2 cup cacao powder
Pinch of salt
Preparation
Blend base all together - make sure that the medjool dates have been soaked, drained and are nice and soft
Add water if required
Pat down in a lined tray
Mix caramel ingredients together - ensure that coconut oil is cooled
Add to try
Make chocolate by placing all ingredients into medium pot and cooking over medium heat until a deep chocolate silky texture
Allow chocolate to cool a little bit and then add to the slice
Freeze half way, take out and cut, place back in freezer and leave in over night or for a few hours (you want the chocolate to be hard)
Serve for consumption
Store in fridge
